NACHW Capitol Hill Visit, March 10-12, 2025

Just a friendly reminder that the application deadline to join NACHW for the 3rd Annual Capitol Hill Visit, taking place from March 10–12, 2025, in Washington, DC, is fast approaching! Applications are due by the end of the day on Friday, January 17th. 

This is your chance to make a real impact by meeting directly with members of Congress and their staff to educate them about the vital role of Community Health Workers in the communities they represent—and across the U.S. By sharing your personal experiences as constituents, you’ll help lawmakers understand the essential contributions CHWs make to advancing health equity and advocate for their support on key policy priorities. This powerful event features a CHW rally, a Congressional briefing, and coordinated meetings with legislators—and don’t worry, we’ll provide all the training you need to confidently share your story and make your voice heard. 

CHWs and allies who are new to national-level CHW advocacy are especially encouraged to apply! Scholarships will be assessed based on demonstrated financial need, diversity among CHWs/Promotoras/CHRs, and emerging NACHW CHW leaders. Don’t miss this opportunity to build relationships with decision-makers, amplify the visibility of the CHW profession, and drive policy changes that support community health and the CHW workforce.
